ZANDDAM OUTDOOR SYNDICATE
Location
The farm Zanddam is located approximately 5km East of Rosendal in the Free State Province of South Africa. The size of the farm is approximately 100 hectares. 
Zanddam is close to Rosendal, a small picturesque town in the Eastern Free State. It is situated in a valley surrounded by the Witteberge that forms part of the Drakensberg range. The mountains add to the natural beauty of the area.  The geological beauty of the sand stone mountains is one of the main attractions of this area. Green willows line fast flowing creeks and add to the natural beauty. A large number of species of trees, shrubs, succulents, wild flowers and grasses grow in the fertile soil. Quite a few species of birds frequent the area, including Vultures and Blue Cranes. The town and surrounding area have a number of historical sandstone buildings that are worth a visit. Art, hiking, adventure sport, horse riding and visits to interesting farming industries are just some of the things that Rosendal offers.
The location of Zanddam places it within reach of the following tourist attractions:
• The Golden Gate Nature Reserve (Approximately 90km);
• Pretoriuskloof Nature Reserve (Approximately 70km);
• The Wolhuterskop Game- and Nature Reserve         (Approximately 70km);
• Holhoek Hiking trail (Approximately 45km);
• The Caledonspoort border post to Lesotho is 75 km away and offers easy access to the Oxbow ski resort.
•  The town of Clarens, that offers various activities, like 4x4 routes, quad biking facilities, horse riding trails, clay pigeon shooting, archery, mountain biking, abseiling, golf, squash, tennis, bowls and fly fishing (Approximately 100km);
• And many more!
Supporting infrastructure
The following infrastructure is available in the area:
• Roads
A good road system (mostly tarred roads) supply access to all facilities listed above.
• Telecommunication
Most of the area under discussion is serviced by both land-line and cellular telecommunication service providers.
• Medical services
Excellent medical facilities are available in Bethlehem,  Senekal and other tows in the area.
• Financial services
A full range of relevant financial services are available at commercial banks and through other service providers in Senekal or Ficksburg, approximately 50 km from Rosendal.
• Syndication
A syndicate package can be bought on the following basis:
One week per year for a period of three years. The cost of this package is R12 000-00 (outside school holiday periods) or R18 000-00 (inside school holidays). An additional annual service levy of  R 1 600-00 will be payable
During the week bought, the syndicate member will enjoy full use of the farm and facilities on it, as  described in the syndicate agreement;
Accommodation on the farm comprises of  the original three bedroom farm house – and three stables!

The house is equipped with electricity and all facilities     to allow for a comfortable stay.
