Alliances
TMC has developed a new concept for
overseas companies willing to enter the South African market.
This new strategic business concept involves the use of
strategic alliances with overseas companies to penetrate the South African
market. TMC has been assisting overseas companies to enter the
South African market, by securing projects for the strategic
alliance set up between TMC and the particular overseas company,
using joint funding for the marketing activities and then
managing locally projects on behalf and in conjunction with the
strategic alliance partner, with active participation of the
strategic alliance partner within the project.
Over the
years, TMC has also been providing business consultancy services
to overseas companies who wished to set up a presence locally in
the South African market. For instance, TMC has been
instrumental in the identification of strategic alliance
partners, agents and distributors for a number of overseas
companies, as well supporting the negotiation processes
conducive to the setting up of such business relationships. This
process has often also worked in reverse i.e. identification and
setting up of such business relationships for local companies in
respect of appropriate strategic partner companies overseas.
Furthermore, TMC has continuously welcomed
the formation of appropriate strategic alliances between local
companies and TMC within the South African market and we continue to look out for such
opportunities to establish strategic alliances, whenever they
present themselves, conducive to strategic networking with other
South African companies and with other companies overseas.
